An updated version of Events2HVAC has been released for download for customers with an active software subscription.

Upgrading from v1.1.x to v1.2.x is considered a MAJOR upgrade since it involves some significant database updates and core functionality changes.  Databases prior to v1.2 will be updated to the new schema.  Once the upgrade has been performed on the database it cannot be used on an E2H installation prior to v1.2.  Make sure you backup your Events2HVAC database prior to updating!

See the "Upgrading an existing installation" link below.

Critical Updates

  • A memory leak in the BACnet device interface component has been fixed in this update.  This leak only presented itself in cases where there was continuous BACnet whois/Iam traffic present.

Bug Fixes

  • Misc Fixes and performance improvements
  • Fix importing multiple actions per item where only one action is imported
New Features and Enhancements
  • For large installations, mass import/export equipment, rooms, and actions from CSV file.
  • Support for EMS web API v1.1.21 and improvements using that connection
  • Latest R25 API updates
  • UI enhancements to event viewer, event list, and room list
  • Allow the 3rd party BACnet driver to be evaluated for 60 days w/o a license key
  • Documentation updates
New Installation Requirements

This version and future will require .NET Framework v3.5 SP1 to be installed as a prerequisite to the Events2HVAC installation.

Also starting in v1.1.3, installation on 64-bit platforms will be installed as 32-bit.  Previously these were installed as 64-bit.  Due to some 3rd party component limitations, we decided to keep everything 32-bit moving forward.  Please review the following article from our support knowledge base.
