The Dean Evans EMS® Event Provider is the component that is used to provide the information link from the Dean Evans EMS® application to the Events2HVAC application. The Events2HVAC system will periodically query the Dean Evans EMS® database at specific intervals to determine what events are scheduled for the day and what the rooms are for those events.
The events that are using rooms that have been mapped into a specific equipment item in Events2HVAC will automatically create command actions to be executed when those events take place. This component also provides on-demand access to the event schedule information so that the Events2HVAC users can see the event calendar without needed direct access to the Dean Evans client.
System Requirements
- Dean Evans EMS® LiteTM (v5+), EMS ProfessionalTM (v9+), EMS EnterpriseTM (v3+), EMS CampusTM, EMS LegalTM, EMS WorkplaceTM , EMS DistrictTM
- SQL connection from the EMS database to the Events2HVAC application. SQL login credentials for the EMS database with at least dataReader permissions and login access to the database
- Dean Evans EMS® API v1.x (if no SQL connection is available)
- SQL Server 2005/2008 or SQLExpress (for SQL connections)
- Microsoft .NET Framework v3.5 SP1
