Overview
The P2000 device interface allows the Events2HVAC server to send commands to Johnson Controls P2000 security management system objects. The device interface communicates with the P2000 using the XML-RPC protocol.
Allowing Events2HVAC to interface with the card access security system enables the doors to be locked and unlocked automatically based on the room reservation system.
Available Actions
DoorLock*
The DoorLock action sends a door lock command for a terminal after an event item has been triggered.
This action only applies to the following event triggers: EventStart, EventStop, EventSetupStart, EventSetupStop, EventTeardownStart, EventTeardownStop.
DoorUnlock*
The DoorUnlock action sends a door unlock command for a terminal after an event item has been triggered.
This action only applies to the following event triggers: EventStart, EventStop, EventSetupStart, EventSetupStop, EventTeardownStart, EventTeardownStop.
DoorTimedUnlock*
The DoorTimedUnlock action triggers a door unlock command for a specific number of minutes, after which the door will lock.
This action only applies to the following event triggers: EventStart, EventStop, EventSetupStart, EventSetupStop, EventTeardownStart, EventTeardownStop.
DoorSetOverrideTimezoneEnable
The DoorSetOverrideTimezoneEnable action enable or disables the timezone override flag for a terminal after an event item has been triggered.
This action only applies to the following event triggers: EventSetupTeardown, EventStartStop
DoorSetOverrideTimezone*
The DoorSetOverrideTimezone action commands an override timezone for a terminal after an event item has been triggered.
This action only applies to the following event triggers: EventSetupTeardown, EventStartStop
EventTrigger*
The EventTrigger action triggers an event script for a terminal after an event item has been triggered.
This action only applies to the following event triggers: EventStart, EventStop, EventSetupStart, EventSetupStop, EventTeardownStart, EventTeardownStop.
System Requirements
Each Events2HVAC client must have the following system requirements in order to load and communicate correctly:
- Windows 2000 SP4, XP SP2, Server 2000, Server 2003
- Johnson Controls P2000 Security Management System v3.8 or higher
- Port 41023 access to the P2000 server
